Tetracycline hydrochloride – 110 mg
Excipients: Bromhexine hydrochloride, sodium cyclamate, sodium citrate, saccharin, colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium chloride, lactose, pecuaroma 1226-Z.
Pharmacological properties:
Tromix is a broad-spectrum, long-acting antibacterial agent. Its pharmacological effect is due to the antimicrobial activity of its active components. The combination of substances provides a pronounced synergistic effect and exhibits bacteriostatic activity against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli, Clostridium spp., Salmonella spp., Proteus mirabilis, Proteus spp., Pasteurella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Enterococcus spp., Klebsiella spp., Bordetella spp., Neisseria spp.
The combination of antibiotics and sulfonamides is highly effective against pathogenic microorganisms by inhibiting tetrahydrofolic acid synthesis in bacterial cells. Tetracycline disrupts protein biosynthesis in harmful bacteria at the ribosomal level.
The product is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, reaching the bloodstream within 1–2 hours, and remains effective for up to 12 hours. Maximum blood concentration is reached 8 hours after administration. Excreted mainly with urine and partly with feces.
According to its effect on the body, Tromix belongs to hazard class IV (low-risk substances).
Effective against infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to sulfadimidine, trimethoprim, and tetracycline hydrochloride, including infections of the respiratory tract, digestive tract, urogenital system, and secondary bacterial infections. Well tolerated by the target animals and poultry when used at the recommended doses.
