Composition:
Each bolus contains: Oxyclozanide 3000 mg
Excipients: Potato starch, lactose, polyethylene glycol 6000, polyvinylpyrrolidone, talc, magnesium stearate, aerosil

Form of Release:
60 boluses in a polyethylene container

Description:
White, yellowish, or cream-colored boluses, with “F” engraved on one side and “BIO” inscribed on the other

Pharmacological Properties:
Oxyclozanide, a salicylanilide group anthelmintic, disrupts the phosphorylation cycle and reduces ATP levels, resulting in metabolic dysfunction in helminths and their death.
It is absorbed slowly; therapeutic plasma levels are reached within 24 hours after oral administration. It is excreted via feces.

Indications for Use:
Used in the treatment of fascioliasis, esophagostomiasis, dictyocaulosis, paramphistomiasis, and monieziasis in cattle.

Dosage and Administration:
Administer orally, individually or in groups, with feed:

  • Fascioliasis, esophagostomiasis, dictyocaulosis: 1 bolus per 350 kg of body weight

  • Paramphistomiasis, monieziasis: 1 bolus per 200 kg of body weight

Contraindications:
Not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy in cattle.

Side Effects:
No side effects observed with correct dosage.

Withdrawal Period:

  • Slaughter: Permitted 14 days after last administration

  • Milk: May be used 24 hours after last administration

Storage Conditions:
Store in a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

Shelf Life: 3 years
