Composition:
100g of ichthyol ointment contains: 10 or 20g ivhthyol, 90 or 80g of Vaseline;
Charectiristics:
Black or brown ointment with specific smell of ichthyol;
Pharmacological characteristics:
Antiseptic, anti-inflammation drug; It is designed for external use. It has anti-inflammation, antiseptic activities. It is characterized by local analgesy. It improves cicatrisation of wounds.
Effects:
Open wounds, eczema, dermatitis, purulent wounds, and cicatrix;
Dosage:
Ointment must be rubbed into hurt part of the skin and tissues around it or it is put as a bandage. Rubbing and bandaging is carried out 2-3 times a day until the final recovery;
Side effects:
No side effects are reported during usage of a drug. Excessive sensitivity can be observed to drug components;
