Zinc Ointment
Description: Zinc ointment is an odorless, white-colored, thick, homogeneous mass.
Pharmacotherapeutic Group: Antiseptic, anti-inflammatory agent.
Target Species: Agricultural and domestic animals.
Pharmacological Properties: An antiseptic, anti-inflammatory agent for external use. It has pronounced local analgesic properties and enhances wound healing.
Indications for Use: Used for the treatment of skin diseases, wounds, burns, ulcers, furunculosis, mange, pyoderma, dermatitis, and bedsores in animals.
Method of Use: The ointment should be applied to the affected area of the skin. It can be applied in the form of a dressing. Dressings and applications should be done 2-3 times daily until recovery.
Side Effects: The use of the ointment in animals does not cause side effects or complications.
Contraindications: Not established.
Release Form: 20 g ointment in a polyethylene container.
Storage Conditions: Store in a place protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 10-20°C.
